Watch this video to learn how to assign NFC codes on the MyThyngs platform, linking your NFC products to the digital content you've created, or, follow the written instructions below.
Any thyng you purchase will have a thyng code, which can be seen in the image below beneath the QR code.
You need to link this code to an Object and Thyng Page on your account before the thyng can be interacted with, which can be done in 3 different methods.
Using the Tap and Scan app:
Tap or scan the thyng with your smartphone.
When the app loads, sign into your MyThyngs account and select the Object and Page you would like users to see on interacting with this thyng.
While creating/editing your Thyng Page:
Save any work on your Thyng Page with the Apply changes button at the bottom of the page.
Click the I'm done button and select Enter a product code.
Enter your thyng code and click Ok.
Select the Object you wish to link to and click Create.
Through the Configure Thyngs menu:
Click into the Thyngs submenu.
Click Assign a thyng.
Enter your thyng code and click Ok.
Select the Object you wish to link to and click Create.
After successfully linking your thyng code to your digital experience you can interact with this thyng using NFC or QR.
Assigning multiple styckers at once:
Packs of 100 styckers (or more) come with a batch code per 100 pack which can be used to assign styckers 100 at a time.
From the user menu
(top-right of every screen) select Welcome.
Click the Begin button to Set up or Reset a kit, as seen in the image below. (Please note, you will need to have added basic company details to see this display.)
Enter the batch number for your pack of 100 styckers and select the Object/Page to link the digital experience to your styckers.
