Watch this video to learn how to add the Stripe payment extension on the MyThyngs platform so you can accept live payments and donations, or, follow the written instructions below.

 


Users new to Stripe:

  1. Log into your Thyngs account at https://my.thyngs.net 

  2. Click the user menu icon 

     (top-right of every screen) and select Payments & Extensions.

  3. Click Add Extension for the Stripe payment extension.

  4. Fill in the form with your company, personal, and bank details.*

  5. Enter an email address and password, and click the Authorize access button. 

 *NB: This should be the bank account that you want your payments/donations to be collected into.

You are now ready to take live payments/donations from your customers. 

 

Users with an existing Stripe account: 

  1. Follow steps 1-3 as detailed above.

  2. Click the Sign-in option (top right, above the new user form).

  3. Sign into your Stripe account and click to Authorize access.

You are now ready to take live payments/donations from your customers.

NB: You will not be able to make test payments/donations after the extension has been added. We, therefore, recommend that you test the payment functionality before activating any payment extensions.
